Bravely you manned your roadside post, patiently and without prejudice receiving ... good news, bad news, even the ever present junk mail, never flinching at the vehicles as they sped past you.

Then, in the early morning hours hoodlums full of drink and merriment snuffed you out while gleefully celebrating their high school graduation.

Sadly you paid the same price as the mailbox before you, also a victim to as the police put it "kids just being kids". And even though you found it hard to keep your mouth shut, we will miss you none-the-less.
